About Us

Babinda Visitor Information Centre

Our accredited information centre is designed to provide help to potential tourists and locals alike. This help is providing information about our area, surrounding areas, as well as further afield in Queensland. Tourists and locals are aided by using brochures, maps and itineraries. These can help plan trips from the details given about what to see and do, where to stay, where to eat and other activities.

There are five components that can be covered from an information centre and they are: attractions, accessibility, accommodation, amenities and activities. Our centre covers all these. The centre is fully accessible and provides toilet facilities. Our volunteers are local and many themselves have travelled and visited information centres.  This travelling has given our volunteers the knowledge of what it means to travel and the help provided from the volunteers in centres.

We are ready to share our secret with you so come into the information centre for a visit. Our staff will welcome you with a smile and happily ‘shower’ you with all the information you need.

Happy Trails!!
